The eleventh hole requires every golfer’s attention. The hole is not overly long but calls for much thought and accuracy off the tee. The Welland River crosses the hole three times and has swallowed many a golf ball. The player must decide whether to lay up off the elevated tee or go over the creek that requires a 220 yard carry off the tee. If into the wind, a lay up is imminent. This hole can make or break your entire round as there is no relief from trouble.
